These are the first batch of cookies to come out of the oven in the new home. They are chocolate chip & butterscotch chip cookies.

This new oven runs hot too. Good thing I have a oven thermometer in there. The cookies are supposed to bake at 375 and the oven was up to 425!!! Almost burned the first batch!!!

As Alton Brown would say..."never trust an oven temperature gauge, use a real oven thermometer."

Not sure why someone needs to carry their dog everywhere they go---but the owner of this dog takes it everywhere in a bag, and that includes OTHER peoples jobs!!!

I mean, people don't take their kids to work...and if they did, and had to go to someone else's place of work for the day you certainly wouldn't just let your kid run around and do whatever it wants...including jumping on other people's furniture!!!

Yep, I need new lunch ideas. So I'm using the bento box concept here. I'll be loading my Tupperware up in bento box style, but with stuff I like and not really all Japanese food. Sure I'll have rice in there...but you won't see any seafood going in there.......hmm..maybe calamari!

I hope my job breaks out in a war just like this one!!!

Today I am consuming my first batch of cold brewed coffee. I always heard that it was very smooth and yummy. I used an Italian espresso coffee that was very acidy with a lot of bite so that I could tell just how smooth it really is. It certainly is smmmmmoooootttthhhh!!! It made a coffee that I normally don't like, very drinkable.

I just used my press pot, put in freshly grounded beans, filtered water, and left it in the fridge for 24 hours. YUM!

Yep, I tweaked the blog again. I think this is better, but I may change it again.

This is my second attempt at Japanese curry. I have a couple other brands to try, but the more I make it, the more I think it's just not gonna come out like I get for lunch at work!!! Dammit I need a real home made recipe!!! NOT A BOX!!!
